Randa Anderson grabbed a wreath and made her way towards a headstone on Saturday during the Wreaths Across America event at the Lady Lake Cemetery.
Anderson, of Lady Lake, has volunteered to put wreaths on the graves of veterans each year American Legion Post 347 and the Sons of the American Legion have participated in the event.
For Anderson, the wreath laying is personal.
“I have 14 family members buried here in this cemetery,” she said. “And my father, brother and first husband were all veterans, so they get wreaths today.”
